Join fellow music educators for a high-energy “Special Edition” session designed to inspire, equip, and reconnect you with the heart of great band teaching. Packed with practical strategies, meaningful conversation, real-world tools, and plenty of laughter, this session will explore how exceptional band programs are built through authentic relationships, intentional leadership, and a culture where excellence becomes the expectation.

Together, we’ll dive into strategies for creating musical growth every day through purposeful planning, rehearsal techniques, and student-centered teaching that moves learners from simple compliance to genuine passion and ownership. We’ll also explore how to “lead from below” within your school and community, strengthening advocacy and support for your program while empowering student leaders to shape culture from within.

Participants will leave with immediately usable resources, including solutions for forgotten instruments, ideas for building student leadership, strategies for engaging parents and communities, and practical “tools of the trade” that make a lasting difference. Most importantly, you’ll connect with passionate colleagues to exchange best practices, fresh ideas, and renewed inspiration for the year ahead. Don’t miss this one!
